Associate Professor  Ahmet Aykas,MD graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1989. He completed his General Surgery specialization training at İzmir (Bozyaka) Training and Research Hospital. Between 1999-2020, worked as a surgical specialist in the "General Surgery and Organ Transplantation" clinics of the same institution. While taking part in one of the teams that performed the first kidney transplantation since its establishment in Izmir. Furthermore,  participated in many scientific meetings related to his fields of expertise, made presentations and papers, and carried out national and international studies. He received the title of "Associate Professor" in 2019. After 2020, he continues his professional career in a private clinic in partnership with Professor Yusuf Yıldırım,MD providing clinical support to each other and participating in each other's surgeries. His main focus is on breast and endocrine surgery, upper gastrointestinal system surgery, colorectal surgery, laparoscopic surgery and transplantation surgery. He is married with a child.
